The prize will be awarded to an IDA-member, who works towards increasing the gender equality within their field. The award winner has distinguished him- or herself within the following areas:

Highlighting highly educated women in technical and scientific disciplines
Promoting equality for highly educated women in technical and scientific disciplines
A woman or man who has done something remarkable in and/or for technical and scientific disciplines.

The winner will be revealed at the conference “Diversity in Tech and Science” in the fall, where we shine a light on all the possibilities and challenges of creating inclusion and diversity within Science, Tech, Engineering and Mathematics.

Agnes & Betzy Award 2022

Each year IDA awards a member with 25.000 DKK in the name of the first two danish female engineers Agnes Nielsen and Betzy Meyer. They graduated in 1897.
